You have submitted the application. Now let's get you the award letter.
Grant Writing to WIN is a 2-hour advanced virtual workshop built for entrepreneurs and small nonprofit leaders who are past the basics and ready to compete at the highest level. This class assumes you already know what a grant is. We are not going back to the beginning. We are going deeper into the strategy, systems, and skills that separate the organizations that get funded from the ones that keep getting passed over.
Dr. Stacia Thompson brings 25 years of grant writing experience and a client roster that spans five states in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. What she teaches in this room is what she does every day.
THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU IF:
- You have submitted at least one grant and have not yet received an award
- You want to pursue larger and more competitive opportunities including federal grants
- You run a for-profit business and want to know what grant pathways are available to you - You are ready to build a real grant strategy, not just write better applications

- The five grant categories including federal, corporate, government, and for-profit pathways like SBIR and STTR
- How to build and use a logic model and theory of change to strengthen any narrative
- Equity-forward language strategies and how to write for reviewer scoring panels
- Advanced SMART objectives, the Funder Mirror Method, and the So What Test
